Questions

  • Recruitment, better known as "rush," is a period of time where Greek-life organizations host various events for potential new members (rushees). This is a time for rushees to learn more about the organization, get to know existing members and vice-versa.

  • The best place to start is attending our open houses and rush events. These are a great way for you and the brothers to get to know each other. Join us in rush week to learn about what brotherhood, leadership, and excellence mean to us.

  • If the brothers feel you are a good fit for Fiji, we may offer you a bid. The bid is your invitation to join our chapter. There is no obligation to accept a bid from Fiji or any other organization.

  • If you choose to accept the bid, you will officially begin the new member process. During this time, you will learn about the fraternity and become prepared to be an excellent brother of Phi Gamma Delta. You will learn about the values, history, and traditions of our fraternity. It is also a valuable time for you to get closer to your pledge class and existing brothers.

  • Continuous open bidding (COB) is a process that allows students to join organizations after the regular rush period. If you are interested in joining Fiji, you can choose to apply through COB now or wait for Fall 2024 rush.
